Amicapsil-SCI treatment of chronic grade 4 pressure ulcer in spinal cord injury

Pressure ulcer at detection 7 weeks earlier.

A pressure ulcer or pressure sore was detected and treated for 2 months with UrgoTul initially and later UrgoTul and Flaminal. The wound did not heal but deteriorated into a deep infected, necrotic grade 4 pressure ulcer.

Amicapsil-SCI was used and the extensive slough and exudate levels quickly reduced and the wound began to heal. After approx. two and a half months the wound had fully closed.
